I enjoy and are drawn to having close relationships and building on them, finding out what they feel about certain things and what drives them. Relationships that are honest and true have a very strong importance and value in my life, and I will continuously put myself out there to make them stronger.

This makes me an effective leader because I can use my relationship building skills to build relationships with other people and make them feel important within the group.

I see a blank canvas when I look at other people, something that can be built upon and developed to be something amazing. Like a blank canvas people are full of potential, you just need to see what they can be and start to paint, add a little blue here and a little red there. Eventually you end up with a wonderful picture, however you never stop painting, because a true master piece takes a lifetime to paint!

This makes me an effective leader because I can help people achive sucess and build on their skills, giving them more confidence.

I am always someone who will finish something once I start it. I will never give up on a project or task, it means too much to me not to.  Not only will I finish anything I start I will do it very well, and others will look to me to get the job done.

This makes me an effective leader because poeple will come to me when they need something done right because they know I will give it 100% of my effort.

Although we are all individual people, I believe that we are also a part of a larger collective whole. I like knowing that I am never alone.  I also feel a connection to nature, specifically the ocean. We must take care our Earth because we only have the one and if we destroy it then we have nothing left.

This makes me an effective leader because I will strive to make people feel welcome, but also hold them accountable for their actions.

I have strong beliefs and values that guide my actions and give my life meaning and direction. These values and beliefs are consistent and unwavering, and make me trustworthy.

This makes me an effective leader because people will trust me to make decisions within a group, and value my opinions.

Responsibility

My personal definition of leadership is someone who depending on what the situation calls for takes charge and helps facilitate the group getting to their end goal.  They should be someone who isn’t concerned with just their own success but also the success of the group members.  They are not afraid to admit when they don’t know the answer, and will seek out those with the knowledge to help them
